The mc admin accesskey rm command removes an access key associated to a user on the deployment. The command requires the access key to exist. Syntax Example The following command removes the access key myuseraccesskey from the myaistor deployment:

Syntax The mc admin bucket quota command configures, displays, or clears a hard quota on a bucket. When a bucket reaches its configured hard quota, MinIO AIStor rejects further write operations until data is removed to bring usage below the limit. See Bucket Quotas for a complete overview of quota behavior and monitoring.

Syntax The mc admin decommission command starts the decommissioning process for an MinIO AIStor server pools. Decommissioning is designed for removing an older server pool whose hardware is no longer sufficient or performant compared to the pools in the deployment. MinIO AIStor automatically migrates data from the decommissioned pool to the remaining pools in the deployment based on the ratio of free space available in each pool. The process ignores unreadable objects, such as those that have lost read quorum, and continues with remaining objects in the pool.

The mc admin user enable command enables an MinIO AIStor user on the target MinIO AIStor deployment. Clients can only use enabled users to authenticate to the MinIO AIStor deployment. Syntax The mc admin uncordon command returns a cordoned node to active service after maintenance. This command notifies all other nodes in the cluster that the specified node is returning to service. When you run mc admin uncordon, the command: Removes the node from the cluster’s internal list of cordoned nodes. Notifies all peer nodes that the target node is returning to service. Permission This command requires that the user performing it have the admin:Rebalance policy action for the deployment. Description The mc admin rebalance command allows starts, monitors, or stops a rebalancing operation on an MinIO AIStor deployment. Rebalancing redistributes objects across all pools in the deployment.

The mc encrypt set encrypt command sets or updates the default bucket Server-Side Encryption (SSE) mode. MinIO AIStor automatically encrypts objects written to that bucket using the specified SSE mode. mc encrypt set supports only SSE-KMS and SSE-S3 encryption types.
