Field Selectors | Kubernetes
Field selectors let you select Kubernetes objects based on the value of one or more resource fields. Here are some examples of field selector queries: metadata.name=my-service metadata.namespace!=default status.phase=Pending This kubectl command selects all Pods for which the value of the status.phase field is Running: kubectl get pods --field-selector status.phase=Running Note:Field selectors are essentially resource filters. By default, no selectors/filters are applied, meaning that all resources of the specified type are selected.kubernetes.io/docs/concepts/overview/working-with-objects/field-selectors/Registered: Fri Dec 12 08:04:23 UTC 2025 - 467.5K bytes - Viewed (0) -

Using CoreDNS for Service Discovery | Kubernetes
This page describes the CoreDNS upgrade process and how to install CoreDNS instead of kube-dns. Before you begin You need to have a Kubernetes cluster, and the kubectl command-line tool must be configured to communicate with your cluster. It is recommended to run this tutorial on a cluster with at least two nodes that are not acting as control plane hosts. If you do not already have a cluster, you can create one by using minikube or you can use one of these Kubernetes playgrounds:kubernetes.io/docs/tasks/administer-cluster/coredns/Registered: Fri Dec 12 08:35:28 UTC 2025 - 463K bytes - Viewed (0) -
