Assign Pod-level CPU and memory resources | Kub...
FEATURE STATE: Kubernetes v1.34 [beta](enabled by default) This page shows how to specify CPU and memory resources for a Pod at pod-level in addition to container-level resource specifications. A Kubernetes node allocates resources to a pod based on the pod's resource requests. These requests can be defined at the pod level or individually for containers within the pod. When both are present, the pod-level requests take precedence. Similarly, a pod's resource usage is restricted by limits, which can also be set at the pod-level or individually for containers within the pod.kubernetes.io/docs/tasks/configure-pod-container/assign-pod-level-resources/Registered: Fri Dec 12 08:33:38 UTC 2025 - 495.3K bytes - Viewed (0) -
Create a Windows HostProcess Pod | Kubernetes
FEATURE STATE: Kubernetes v1.26 [stable] Windows HostProcess containers enable you to run containerized workloads on a Windows host. These containers operate as normal processes but have access to the host network namespace, storage, and devices when given the appropriate user privileges. HostProcess containers can be used to deploy network plugins, storage configurations, device plugins, kube-proxy, and other components to Windows nodes without the need for dedicated proxies or the direct installation of host services.kubernetes.io/docs/tasks/configure-pod-container/create-hostprocess-pod/Registered: Fri Dec 12 08:33:45 UTC 2025 - 476K bytes - Viewed (0) -

Pull an Image from a Private Registry | Kubernetes
This page shows how to create a Pod that uses a Secret to pull an image from a private container image registry or repository. There are many private registries in use. This task uses Docker Hub as an example registry. 🛇 This item links to a third party project or product that is not part of Kubernetes itself. More information Before you begin You need to have a Kubernetes cluster, and the kubectl command-line tool must be configured to communicate with your cluster.kubernetes.io/docs/tasks/configure-pod-container/pull-image-private-registry/Registered: Fri Dec 12 08:33:23 UTC 2025 - 482.7K bytes - Viewed (0) -

Create static Pods | Kubernetes
Static Pods are managed directly by the kubelet daemon on a specific node, without the API server observing them. Unlike Pods that are managed by the control plane (for example, a Deployment); instead, the kubelet watches each static Pod (and restarts it if it fails). Static Pods are always bound to one Kubelet on a specific node. The kubelet automatically tries to create a mirror Pod on the Kubernetes API server for each static Pod.kubernetes.io/docs/tasks/configure-pod-container/static-pod/Registered: Fri Dec 12 08:34:02 UTC 2025 - 482.4K bytes - Viewed (0) -
Cloud Controller Manager Administration | Kuber...
FEATURE STATE: Kubernetes v1.11 [beta] Since cloud providers develop and release at a different pace compared to the Kubernetes project, abstracting the provider-specific code to the cloud-controller-manager binary allows cloud vendors to evolve independently from the core Kubernetes code. The cloud-controller-manager can be linked to any cloud provider that satisfies cloudprovider.Interface. For backwards compatibility, the cloud-controller-manager provided in the core Kubernetes project uses the same cloud libraries as kube-controller-manager. Cloud providers already supported in Kubernetes core are expected to use the in-tree cloud-controller-manager to transition out of Kubernetes core.kubernetes.io/docs/tasks/administer-cluster/running-cloud-controller/Registered: Fri Dec 12 08:34:58 UTC 2025 - 482.8K bytes - Viewed (0) -
