  2. mc support perf site-replication | AIStor Objec...

The mc support perf site-replication command measures the speed of site replication operations from the specified ALIAS to other configured peers. The command displays results in a terminal user interface (TUI) with a spinner during testing and a tabular output showing RX (receive) and TX (transmit) statistics for each server. Use this command to identify potential site replication performance bottlenecks in your deployment. Syntax Example The following command tests the speed of site replication operations from the myaistor site to other configured peers.

  3. mc legalhold info | AIStor Object Store Documen...

The mc legalhold info command returns the current legal hold setting for an object or objects. mc legalhold requires that the specified bucket has object locking enabled. You can enable object locking at bucket creation. See mc mb --with-lock for documentation on creating buckets with object locking enabled. Version changed Beginning with RELEASE.2025-05-20T20-30-00Z, AIStor allows setting object locking and retention rules on any existing bucket. Earlier versions of AIStor only allowed setting retention rules for buckets at the bucket’s creation.

  4. mc share list | AIStor Object Store Documentation

The mc share ls command displays any unexpired presigned URLs generated by mc share upload or mc share download. The mc share list command has equivalent functionality to mc share ls. Applications can perform a PUT to retrieve the object from the URL. For more information on shareable object URLs, see the Amazon S3 documentation on Pre-Signed URLs. Syntax Example The following command lists all upload and download presigned URLs respectively for the mydata bucket on the myaistor AIStor deployment:

  5. mc ls | AIStor Object Store Documentation

The mc ls command lists buckets and objects on an AIStor deployment. You can also use mc ls to list objects on S3-compatible services. Syntax Example The following command lists all objects in a bucket on the myaistor deployment:

  6. mc od | AIStor Object Store Documentation

The mc od command copies a local file to a remote location in a specified number of parts and part sizes. The command outputs the time it took to upload the file. Use the mc od to mimic the functionality of the Linux dd command. Example The following command Upload 200MiB of a file to a bucket in 5 parts of size 40MiB. The output shows the results of the upload, including the length of time it took for the upload to complete.
