Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) controls which web origins can access your MinIO AIStor resources. MinIO AIStor supports both global and per-bucket CORS configuration. Site replication configures multiple independent MinIO AIStor deployments as a cluster of replicas called peer sites. Site replication assumes the use of either the included MinIO AIStor identity provider (IDP) or an external IDP. All configured deployments must use the same IDP. Deployments using an external IDP must use the same configuration across sites. MinIO AIStor does not recommend using macOS, Windows, or non-orchestrated containerized deployments for site replication except for early development, evaluation, or general experimentation.

MinIO AIStor supports publishing bucket notification events to a MySQL service endpoint. MinIO AIStor supports MySQL 5.7.8 and later only. Prerequisites MySQL 5.7.8 and later MinIO AIStor relies on features introduced with MySQL 5.7.8. You can use the MinIO AIStor Console to perform several of the identity and access management functions available in MinIO AIStor, such as: Create and manage user credentials or groups with the built-in MinIO AIStor IDP, connect to one or more OIDC providers, or add an LDAP provider for Single Sign On. Configure single sign on workflows using either OpenID Connect or AD/LDAP. View, manage, and create access policies. Create child access keys that inherit the parent’s permissions. This page documents the steps necessary to add a new MinIO AIStor installation to an existing Site Replication configuration. The procedures assumes a new MinIO AIStor installations and an existing set of deployments configured for Site Replication. The existing configuration must have all MinIO AIStor peer sites reachable and healthy. If any of the sites are unreachable or permanently lost, you must first remove the unreachable site(s) with mc admin replicate rm before expanding with the new site.
